Here is something I wish to share with you all. My first 10 pages of my First ever created Comic series for S. Chand & Company titled SPACE STAR - RAHASYAMAYA GRAHA!
I grew up on Super Commando Dhruva comics and have always loved the story as well as the art.
I have been collecting original comic book art recently and was wondering if any of the original art used for early Super Commando Dhruva books are available for purchase?
I was also wondering if you can do a commissioned art of super commando Dhruva for me.
Please let me know as it would make me very happy to own an original artwork of such an amazing artist.
Anupam ji, Like many others here, I have also grown up with your marvelous comics. I have a lot to say from those days.. actually I first heard the audio broadcast of your comic "Bahri Maut" on Radio, with a teaser of hiding climax in the end. Fortunately the next day i saw this comic and purchased it. I wonder what kind of broadcast that was, and which radio station produced it. Did that happen for a very short duration? Lastly... I liked your old artwork more than what I see these days (more attractive, but I don't like them somehow).

ReplyDeleteNever knew the much famous S.Chand publications, who are known for their college material books, were also into the comics biz.
Any scans of those comic publications (covers, sample pages), would help a lot, to fill in the void.
Pls share when possible.

When I say I collect original comic art, I mean I collect the pages which were drawn by the artist and then scanned.
